FINALLY! After two weeks of doing this, I finally recruited a Kecleon hehe

Let me say that Kecleon is the hardest Pokemon to recruit in PMD Time/Darkness/Sky. Its base recruitment rate is -49.5%. It being negative means that it’s basically impossible to recruit it. Unless…

• You’re between levels 90-100 (+25%)
• You’re holding the Amber Tear/Golden Mask (+24%) 
• You have the Fast Friend IQ (meaning that your IQ is at least six full stars, or have an IQ of 550, and only Pokemon from the B and H IQ group can know this skill) (+1%)

Notice how all of these percentages add up to 50%. Add them and you get 0.5%(1/200). Despite this probability, it’s still tedious trying to defeat every single one of them and recruit them.  

For the Pokemon I recommend using, I recommend Mew. Mew can set up five Barriers to max Defense, since most of Kecleon’s moves are physical. Amnesia is also good in case you wan to take little damage from Psybeam. Mew also knows every TM in the game, so I recommend Silver Wind (which is great since it has a chance of boost every single stat, even speed) or Thunderbolt. Not Earthquake since its accuracy is really low. And it can take little to minor damage from Psybeam. Not that it matters. The reason why is because I recommend these items.

• At least six to ten Evasion Orbs 
• A One-Room Orb (optional)
• One Violent Seed to max Attack and Special Attack
• A Pure Seed (optional)
• A Totter Orb or Petrify Orb (optional)
• Any way to boost speed (like Agility or Quick Seeds, which is optional)

Be wary of Screech though. Because no matter how many times you try to max out your defense, it doesn’t work. And that’s really bad. 

Another thing to note though, when I recruited Kecleon, its stats were all maxed (255 in each stat).
