I’m not a fan of “edgy murderous sociopath” Marx but I can’t agree with “precious misunderstood baby who did nothing wrong” Marx either

Even if he’s actually good in Star Allies he’s gotta be Chaotic Good at most. Like he IS trying to be good but it’s hard when you’re not allowed to set everything on fire

ACTUALLY I like to think of it as Lilo and Stitch where Marx is Stitch

At the beginning he’s an Actual Demon who just looks cute and couldn’t really care less about the consequences of his actions as long as he gets to cause as much mayhem as he wants

At the end he’s still fundamentally an Actual Demon who just looks cute BUT now that he knows how nice it is to have friends who love you he now chooses to use his violent tendencies against people who actually deserve it!! Everybody wins
